A striking floral Ik Onkar symbol sits against an unadorned white background, its form lovingly articulated from thousands of small, bright orange marigold blooms. The Ik Onkar's characteristic vertical stroke, flowing curves and tiny dot are all readable thanks to the marigolds' compact, textured heads, which create a warm, sunlit surface with subtle tonal variation where petals overlap. At the lower centre of the orange formation, a refined accent cluster of pure white lilies provides a calm focal point: at least two lilies are fully open with gently arched petals and pale yellow-green stamens, surrounded by a handful of smaller buds that suggest tenderness and promise. Interspersed among the lilies are glossy green leaves and fine sprays of baby's breath that lend a cool, cushioning frame and a soft, lace-like contrast to the marigold's boldness. The piece sits slightly above its background, the faint shadow beneath it hinting at its physical presence as a ceremonial panel or freestanding tribute. The overall impression is one of devotional artistry - a traditional use of seasonal marigolds married to classic white lilies - commonly seen at Vaisakhi processions, Guru Nanak celebrations, or quiet offerings in homes and temple halls. If you imagine this display in a Bayswater community centre or near the greens by Kensington Gardens, its colours would carry across a room: the orange reads as warmth and unity, the white lilies as clarity and devotion, and the combined scent of marigold and lily would be both grounding and uplifting for those gathered to observe.

A vibrant and reverent floral Khanda occupies the centre of a clean white field, rendered entirely from hundreds of tightly packed bright orange marigold heads. Seen head-on, the arrangement clearly defines the Khanda's elements: the circular chakkar at the center with a subtle three-dimensional curve, two crossed kirpans arcing behind it, and the upright double-edged khanda sword rising from the base. The marigolds' rich, velvety texture catches a soft, even light so each tiny petal reads as a warm, sunlit tuft and the overall orange glow feels celebratory rather than austere. Nestled where the kirpans meet, a cluster of large white lilies breaks the orange with serene contrast: at least two fully open trumpet-shaped lilies display gently curving petals and pale green-yellow stamens, while a few tighter buds promise further bloom. Surrounding the lilies, glossy green foliage - likely salal or similar broad leaves - and delicate sprays of white gypsophila provide cool, soft edges that temper the marigold's intensity. A faint drop shadow beneath the piece gives the impression of a freestanding ceremonial display, handcrafted and carefully balanced. The composition speaks of devotion and ritual, suited to temple adornment, festival displays or respectful tributes during Vaisakhi or Gurpurab. Imagine this arrangement placed on a clothed table in a community hall near Bayswater's parks or laid as a focal offering inside a Gurdwara - its colours, scent and sculpted silhouette convey warmth, unity and spiritual presence to anyone approaching it.
